What was your first Omega ?

Hi Guys,

What was your first Omega ? How did you find it ? What made you buy it ? When did you buy it ?

Here's mine. ( I still own it )

It belonged to a friend of mine. I liked it as soon as I saw it. He proudly explained to me that it was the MK II version of the "moon watch". That didn't impress me too much. I just liked the watch. Anyway about 17 years ago, my friend needed some cash & offered me the watch.
I jumped at the chance.

The best was though, it came with original box & papers !!

I have never had this watch opened by a professional & it runs great ! I do admit it would benefit from a new crystal though.

I think this might be my next watch to be sent to Bienne.

I like this model so much that I got a gold plated version & have a 3rd "project watch".... no details yet...

Here they are..

So tell us about your first Omega.

S.
