FS: Rolex 16808 R Submariner Blue Dial Sub 18Kt Yellow Gold Box

For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 40mm 18 karat yellow gold Rolex Submariner. The circa 1988 16808 will come with a period appropriate Rolex box but no original papers will accompany this watch. The Submariner has the factory original tritium blue dial, surrounded with an 18 karat yellow gold unidirectional rotating bezel with blue aluminum insert. The hands and hour markers do not have any lume left but the pip in the bezel still glows strong. The pin style Oyster bracelet has 12 full size links and will accommodate a 7.5-inch wrist. The 92908 bracelet is in fantastic shape given its age, and would rate at 85% plus condition. The case has most likely been refinished a time or two but the crown and crown guards are in good shape, the case is crisp, and the bezel flutes are sharp. There are a few fine marks in the bezel insert near the 48 minute mark, and there are a few hairlines in the bracelet, mostly around the coronet in the clasp, but otherwise no imperfections that need mentioning. Powering the 16808 is a caliber 3035 movement with an approximate power reserve of 50 hours.

Shall deliver with 15 month in house warranty on the movement for $29,950 plus state tax where applicable.
