FS: Precista Royal Navy Diver Wristwatch c.1989 *LINK*

Dear All

For sale is this rare Precista Royal Navy Diver Wristwatch c.1989

It is believed the Precista brand originated from the now defunct English watch and clock material supplier, Southern Watch & Clock Supplies Ltd.

The CWC and later Precista diver wristwatches issued to the Royal Navy during the 1980s were the immediate successors to the much-coveted Rolex Military Submariner.

The NATO reference of 6645-99-757-3314 and a serial number of 2129/89 to the reverse of the case back of the watch for sale confirms it was issued to the Royal Navy in 1989.

These watches were produced in relatively small numbers over two years only, in 1988 and 1989, making the watch for sale an extremely attractive proposition to any military watch collector or enthusiast.

The watch is in lovely overall condition.

The dial is in excellent condition with no obvious flaws or blemishes.

The hands and crown are all correct to the original specification of the watch.

As expected, there are several scratches and marks to the glass and outer casing of the watch, which are commensurate with age.

The ETA 955 calibre movement is in good condition with a new battery recently fitted.

The watch diameter is 39mm.

Please see photos below:

The watch is currently listed for sale on our website for £2,495, which includes free worldwide delivery via DHL, fully tracked and insured. The watch also comes complete with two new NATO straps and a quality handmade leather watch pouch.

All our items are guaranteed to be completely genuine and authentic examples of their kind. We offer a fourteen-day "no quibble" money-back guarantee on all the items we sell together with a full six-month warranty on all our wristwatches and clocks. This means that you can buy from us with complete confidence.
