FSOT: Heuer Vintage 200m Automatic Diver

I am seeking to sell outright or consider trading this vintage and rarely seen Heuer Automatic Diver, Ref. 844, from the early to mid-70s. It is a classic looking watch with red, 13-24 sub-numerals, quickset date, screw-down crown, and water resistant to 200 meters. The watch has a 17 jewel ETA 2824 automatic movement and keeps very good time without having had the benefit of a recent service. The case top is brushed ss whilst the sides are polished. The caseback reveals the Ref. 844 model.
The black dial is excellent, never re-lumed, with a uniformly pleasing patina on the markers and hands. The ratcheting bezel is very fine to excellent condition (one very small nick near the 11 hour marker). The strap is gently-worn, padded buffalo strap, medium brown. These pre-Tag automatic models do not come along very often, especially in this condition, and are a nice find for the Heuer afficionado and watch collector.

I have 100% positive eBay feedback (userid = reddingct), and stand behind everything I sell.

$650. Payment by Paypal-verified address buyers + 2% fee, bank check or money order. Prices include insured shipping in the USA.

Will entertain trades for Marathon SAR on bracelet, Ball Trainman automatic (any color dial) in excellent-NM condition.

Located in CT..

Best regards and thanks for looking!
Frank
