Re: My Not-So-Scientific Survey of 25 Samples

Hi Luis, maybe others will comment too but to me this looks fine. All the correct features are there-hands, fonts (dial and bezel) etc. One point to notice is the flat 'ledge' above each of the lugs, which you can see next to the bezel. These were mostly not there on refurbished examples or fake pieces.

My only initial concern was the HEUER shield which caught my eye-partly due to the wider upper space in the first 'E', but there appear to be other examples with this spacing also. Jasper's ClassicHeuer site has a few good examples for comparisons-

Hope that helps!

: Hi,

: Many thanks to both of you, Steve and Jeff.

: Yes, finally I also sold one auctioned at Christie's, so I guess is
: a correct, albeit unusual, engraving for the case back.

: I had seen the pic at Bulang but... my bad... some
: missunderstanding here but I always thought it was not a serious
: website. Of course I was wrong, for what I've been checking now.

: To find and expert is a very good choice, but unfortunately I don't
: know no one for these watches.

: So I've tried to investigate as much as I could in the many
: articles or posts provided about faking, "Sinning" or
: changing parts of these watches and as far as I know I feel
: pretty confortable with the results, so I may give it a go now
: these BUND issue is solved.

: Anyway, I attach a zoomed pic of the dial, for you to take a look
: if you are so kind. Very white hands, probably later reluming or
: change.
