OK, my initial Eurphoria has worn off... ( I just eat something !).

The 2 "Heuer" novements in my previous posts are NOT the same. The 1st is the movement shown in the Targa Florio debate ( a Valjoux 76 ), but the 2nd is different.

The 2nd movement ( from ebay auction # 2637508065 ) is identical to my GIL's pocket watch.

Further searching has turned up a Minerva 19-9CH movement (pictured here)

This is what is in my GIL's pocket watch & the "Heuer" in the ebay auction above.

The above picture of the Minerva movement is "borrowed" from the Roots list of Chronograph movements. Thank you Google !
