around the office, and among some enthusiasts, this one is called, "Robo-Chrono" (or "R.C.", for short).

It is hard to imagine the era / aesthetic preferences / style trends that yielded this sort of watch! And it's not the quickest way to glance at a watch and be able to tell what time it is. But it's part of our history, so interesting to explore.
