Re: Authorized dealer or not
In Response To: Authorized dealer or not ()

Hi Jimmy, a lot of axes get ground when a question like yours comes up. The authorized or gray issue, in my case, will always be decided in favor of a local authorized dealer IF I trust that dealer and am satisfied that the price fairly reflects the package I'm buying:watch, warranty, service, convenience and peace of mind. On the other hand, if there is no authorized dealer locally, then I will always give my business to a GOOD gray market dealer IF the discount reflects what I have to bring to the deal: a willingness to forego factory warranty and the ability and patience to pursue service issues on my own. There are some internet gray dealers with absolutely impeccable credentials. When you're ready to buy, post again and name names. You'll get some good pertinent advice. Best wishes....Joe
