: A Patek watch is going to be a $5,000-15,000 or
: more watch. Is this relative someone who
: could possibly have given you a gift worth
: that much?
: That is not a serial number. 5ATM is a water
: resistance rating of 5 atmospheres. 1 ATM =
: 35 feet, so 5 ATM is a water resistance of
: about 175 feet. The other is probably a
: style number.
: That is a common sign of a fake--nonworking
: extra features.

That is the problem. relative can afford it and i thought is returning a favor. i also noticed another glitch. it has sharp edges on the back in and around where the leather band connects to the watch. I have not seen this model on the internet amoung the fake or Genuine Patek watches. Any Advice or suggestions are appreciated.
