For those who have enjoyed the Heuer 02 movement, with its traditional 3-6-9 (tri-compax) arrangement (including 12 hour recorder), and were hoping that the new movement would make its way into a Monaco -- it seems that the wait is almost over.
TAG Heuer's German and Swiss websites are already showing the new model, here -- https://www.tagheuer.com/de-ch/uhren/tag-heuer-monaco-calibre-heuer-02-automatik-chronograph-39-mm-cbl2111-fc6453
Google "Monaco CBL2111" and you will see some of them already offered for sale.
With this, we will have the Heuer 02 movement powering the Autavia, the Carrera and the Monaco. An important moment, as we see TAG Heuer moving to its own movements, rather than the previous Sellita / DD movements.
I'm a fan of the Heuer 02 movement, so looking forward to seeing this one!!
