Re: Colors of Montreal Inner Bezels

Jeff that is correct. I have a gold, white, black and blue Montreal. Each has the same colored inner bezel as the dial with the exception of the gold. It has a off white or cream colored bezel. I have never seen a gold Montreal with a gold bezel. The gold dial is my favorite with the white dial coming in second. The white dial with the white bezel is true white and not a off white. The picture you have presented with the white dial and white bezel is the correct white. Mine is identical to this. Charles.

: a few days ago, I posed the question (copied
: below) of whether the inner bezel on the
: white Cal 12 Montreals (showing tachy and
: pulse) should be white (to match the dial),
: or possibly black or blue.

: my best expert has responded that the inner
: bezel on the Montreals should always match
: the color of the dial: white with white;
: blue with blue; and black with black . . .
: no exceptions.

: there are a couple of "mismatches"
: currently offered on the internet (white
: dial with black bezel, etc.). It's always
: difficult to be certain of exactly what the
: factory produced (and didn't produce) . . .
: Let the buyer beware. Buyers should be
: particularly cautious where there are other
: signs that the bezel has been removed or
: replaced, for example, where it is not
: aligned properly with the dial.

: Here is a white-dialed Montreal, from OnTheDash
: -- white dial and white inner bezel.

: Did all the white-dialed Montreals always have
: this white inner bezel, or did Heuer also
: use blue or black ones?

: Thanks for any information.
