Indeed, I have seen some comments about printing the Power Reserve information on the dial. But once upon a time, the sacred Master Time Clock had the "8 Days" printed on every dial. This was a selling feature of the clock and an important reminder for the user.

Some people may justify printing the depth rating on the dial, saying that this is important information for the user -- go too deep, and you may ruin your watch. Perhaps there is the same rationale for printing the power reserve.

To my eye, it creates a nice balance to the "Heuer 02", printed at the bottom left of the dial . . . even that it has the "80 Hours", as mirror image to the "Heuer 02" . . . a nice little coincidence. And we get to see the nice new font, one more time.

At the end of the day we forgive Rolex for printing half the owners manual on the dial, so I will allow TAG Heuer these extra words. Power Reserve is important, so let the sales assistant at the store remember this selling point of the watch!!
