As a watch, it's not that bad. Too large for me, too Hublot in style, but it works OK.
As a Carrera however, no. Why must the Carrera name be slapped on everything from a modern Autavia (this) to an overpriced Seiko (the Heuer-01 line) to a truer evolution of the elegance the name once stood for (the bezel-less 1887s)?
The Carrera name comes from a time when the model identity was clearly laid out: The Autavia was the sporty watch with a larger case and external rotating bezel, the Carrera was the more elegant sibling which was still readable at a glance but equally at home in the boardroom.
TAG's identity crisis continues and it's just sad to see. We took a step forward with the 160, now we're taking two steps back with more Hublorreras.
