I don't know anything about the market for musicians' memorabilia, and would guess that it is akin to the market for Hollywood memorabilia . . . in any event, I still put the car guys at the top of the list.
Cars and watches are definitely connected, as being mechanical objects incorporating engineering, performance, history, style, etc.
My own experience tells me that when a car guy is nearing the completion of an expensive restoration, a few extra dollars for the dashboard timers or the right watch to wear is nothing. I would bet on the car crowd to have landed a couple of these McQueen Monacos.
