Well It was roughly 10 times the original price. The guy knew he had an American on the hook for the watch. I could have waited a couple of days and sent a Brazilian in to buy the watch for half price but my luck would have been that the watch had sat for 30+ years in that showcase and as soon as I walked out someone else would have come in and bought it.
