all the Carreras in this case (from the 1960's) should have an inner bezel, which is marked for minutes / seconds and 1/5th second. (see the sample, shown below.) replacement bezels are unique to this Carrera and are difficult to find.

I wonder why this bezel is missing? was it damaged? could be a telltale for other problems.
