my observation would be that the websites that use realistic prices tend to move their watches more frequently . . . so they add new watches more often . . . so the websites are more interesting.
there are Heuers on websites that I have been watching for years . . . priced at 2X or 3X a reasonable market price . . . and so they sit.

most businesses need to turn-over their inventory more frequently than on a three or four year cycle. of course, the higher the margins, the lower the required inventory turns.
