Since we haven't found a catalog picture of this gold Carrera, or any other reference pics, is it possible that Heuer decided to put those hands on the gold Carrera as a way to differentiate it from the mainstream 'sporty' models?

However this story ends, it's a danged nice looking watch, but for $6666 it better be perfect (and original) !
