Heuer-Champion Spark Plugs 1979 Chronograph

I recently purchased a Heuer Chronograph with a date that was made for Champion Spark Plugs (their logo is on the dial) back in 1979. What I found interesting about the watch was that it was made in France. I wanted to see if anyone know anything about the origin of this watch and it has any value.
