The Heuer "Champion" is known as one of the "French" Heuer. Despite the brand name, the case was made in France by Monnin and the movement is a manual Vj 7765 without Heuer markings.
This watch was offered as a gift for Heuer spark plug brand clients or sales depsrtment.
Is is very easy to find assembled watches without original hands. I saw many cases on ebay for sale exspecially in Germany.
Andrea
: I recently purchased a Heuer Chronograph with a
: date that was made for Champion Spark Plugs
: (their logo is on the dial) back in 1979.
: What I found interesting about the watch was
: that it was made in France. I wanted to see
: if anyone know anything about the origin of
: this watch and it has any value.
: Thank you,
: Jon
