Hello :
I have found similar occurences and i have been able to confirm my suspicions on more than one occasion. I beleive that prices are purpously increased by false bidders. it seems that the seller gets friends or associates to bid on his/her items. if the buyer friend or associate wins the item, they leave each other a +ve feedback but do not go through with the sale. then it is just a matter of nulling the sale which is very easy. I dont want to make any names unless i am forced to, but i can prove this is happening, so chaps beware. check for bidding patterns in buyers and sellers or the mistery re-apparence of item on ebay.
