I think if somebody was going to produce a fake of this type there are much cheaper and more readily available cases to use than a Caribbean type monocoque .....also, if the seller was of dubious character I don't think he would have a long established double fronted shop in Central Paris dealing in antique jewellery and watches but we all have our opinions .
