Nice job, as I said before. Very smart and quite thorough (although you're wrong about the GMT, which beugleeeee.)

The GMT may be big, but call it ugly while I'm around I might use it like 007 used his Rolex in OHMSS[the book]... ;-)

But re-reading the thread, I feel cheated. Chuck said hed take a shot at five for five, or even five forthree.

Yup... And you have to blame Mr. Stein forthat...

I was going to post my take on 5 for [actually it turned out Mr. Stein meant 5-4-25] within days of the original thread. My take on it was, well, unconventional compared to his. Probably predictable from my background and past posts. However, Jeff mentioned to me that he planned on taking the "$-4-X" concept to IW with the idea of making it an on-going series or feature the magazine could run with frequently.

My strategy would allow people to pick and choose from my work ala carte and hence since I figured I'd be tapped soon thereafter for my take on the concept I didn't spill thebeans publically.

But, if you're really interested in seeing it.... It's in my webspace in a fairly logical spot if you care to search for it. If you can't find it in a couple of days, email me and I'll tell you where it is.

In either case I would appreciate it if you kept it's location to yourself. I just might update it and useit...

As a poor but discerning watch newbit, I'd love tosee it.

"The truth is out there."

Seek it and chances are you'll find it.

best

Allen
