Is Tip-Ex something you drink? When your kids get too wild *you* drink it? (BTW, Dorothy Parker once got so far behind on a book and spend all her advance money that she tried to "commit suicide" by drinking a bottle of shoe polish. Shoe polish is evidently not all that toxic and she was soon on the mend, and had her publisher off her back. I know a writer--author of a wonderful Parker bio--who keeps a bottle of shoe polish near her desk "just in case."
