we have just received an e-mail message from the proud owner of 49176 . . . early version with the all-luminous hands, and it's only 39 numbers away from mine!!
we hope to have a photo soon!!

: photo) . . . 364 numbers apart, and now, 45
: years later, they are together again!
: I believe that the "all-luminous"
: hands (left watch in the top photo) are the
: earliest, with the steel-edged hands
: following shortly after the introduction.
