I just saw In the Shadow of the Moon, the documentary film about the Apollo missions. It's a good film and I would recommend it to anyone who has even a passing interest in the space program.
It has been covered a bit in some Omega forums that I know about, and probably a few that I don't know about, but what I found a bit funny is that while there are a few glimpses of the obligatory Speedies, the only watch which gets a full screen close up is a Heuer stopwatch.
The stopwatch is presented as the one used to time a certain burn, but I am not sure if it is just editing of footage of the control room or it was the actual watch used.
After Jeff's revelations about the John Glenn watch, it seems like those Heuer stopwatches were prevalent at NASA.
Anybody got any more info?
