The speedie is a 2998-6, one of those produced in 1958/9/60 or thereabouts...the movement serial would make it later rather than earlier, and as I do not know whether the movements were pulled in sequence...
Dial and case are all original, never touched..it is missing a little lume on the 4 and 5 markers..hands are replacement, based on the lume shape on the hour hand (typically triangular)..
Crown/pushers/bezel repalced at service two years ago when the watch was overhauled by the swiss firm of Turler...
As to the bracelet, as Chuck points out, it is a JB Champion, and based on the limited internet articles available, I believe it to be the 'correct' mesh design used by NASA..if anyone can elaborate on this I would be much obliged!
