Guys:

we are battling the malicious spam, and we are losing this battle -- several hundred spam messages per day are (a) wasting too much of the Moderators' time, as we are forced to clean the Forums on a near-hourly basis, and (b) making the Forums unappealing for our readers.

I expect that we will be forced to implement some sort of registration / sign-in requirement, like every other major Discussion Fourm on the internet.
