After wearing it today, the quick report is that it "wears" big -- feels strong and stout; operates nicely (like any good Lemania 5100); screw-down crown is a nice touch. Is this the Aplha Male of the Heuer chronographs, the rightful successor of the military-issue Autavias?
I am OK with the fact that this one shows some wear; that may be a negative on some watches (that look better when mint or NOS), but for a watch that was made for rugged use, I can appreciate the scars and scrapes.
