To Me, This One Looked LIke a Bargain
In Response To: 1133G Incomplete Project sells for USD3000 (£1615) ()


at the moment, I am not in the market for this sort of project, so I didn't study this one in detail. But at $3,000, it looked like a nice bargain to me. add a case-back (not so difficult to find) and a crystal (easily available), and the $3,000 project can become $5,000 or $6,000, at retail.

Or maybe we break it down as $1,000 for the movement, $1,000 for the dial, $800 for the bracelet, and a few hundred for the hands and chrono needles.

So how did others evaluate this "project"? did I miss something, about the condition of dial or other elements?
