Carrera for Bahrain Delegation to the 1980 Olympics

we have discussed these watches, from time to time. Search this forum for "Bahrain" and you will find several threads on the subject.

I believe that these were gold plated Carreras produced for the Bahrain delegation to the 1980 Olympics. I am uncertain whether these Carreras went to the athletes, managers, coaches, organizers, etc., but we do see them from time to time. One of the really pretty elements is the brushed finish on the dial.

It's a good looking Carrera; enjoy this one!
