Hello Derek,
I have seen this problem before on a Manhattan case I have which has the same method of fixing as a Kentucky (I also have a Kentucky LCD).
I assume you still have the piece that broke off which you will need to get it put back by a specialist case maker - it should not be too expensive.
If you let me know which part of the Country you are in I will look up a case maker for you in a Horological Directory I have.
