According to The Times issued today (16th May) on page 33, Steve McQueens ACTUAL Monaco from LeMans is to be auctioned off. According to the article Steve gave his Monaco to Bill Maher, his financial advisor for sorting out his finances and is inscribed to WJ Maher and was passed down. The watch is expected to fetch £15,000. Frankly if this story is true then that price is way off target and at the very least you can make a sizeable bet that Tag Heuer alone will move heaven and earth to purchase it - I would imagine at just about any cost.

Can anyone verify and shed light on this...if this is true then this surely is THE Holy Grail.
