As Armando points out, most interesting to see the engraving on the back earlier than the introduction of the watch..one man's word here..
I owned two of the watches used in the making of the movie, both came with authentication papers from the property master on the set.
as to the Times jumping on board..I wonder if someone at Antiquorum knows someone at the Times, and decided to give the auction a little 'publicity'...just a hunch..
