I have two 1163 Autavias and I am confused about the calibres and the marking on the cases.
This is the 1163 HM “Derek Bell”.
The dial:
The movement. Silver as a Cal. 11:
Close-up shows the I marking and the 12 stamp:
This is the 1163 T “Orange Boy”.
The dial:
The movement. “Gold” as a Cal. 12:
Close-up shows the 2 triangle markings indicating that the movement has been upgraded from 11 to 12:
I have these and possibly more questions to the experts:
- Is it right with cal. 12 stamping on the silver cal. 11 movement, even if it is upgraded?
- The triangle marking on a watch with a “Gold” cal. 12 movement can’t be right, can it?
- If I swapped cases everything would be more correct?
All comments are welcome.
