Crocodile straps
In Response To: I'm a fan.. ()

The 40th anniversary Monaco came with a crocodile strap in the box too. Maybe it's an expectation of that end of the market, maybe a lot of people buying the new Monacos don't have the same preconceptions as us vintage collectors as to what strap the watches should come on? What's this, you want to sell me a strap with holes in??!!

I'm sure if you talk to them nicely, you could get one on a perforated strap - it may well be an option, as tends to be the case on a lot of the TAG-Heuers and I actually find their straps with a deployant clasp pretty comfortable. I do agree with you though, it would look better on a sportier strap - perforated rather than tropical for me please!
