For your interest, I have finished a post on the Autavia Diver 100. See here:
http://www.calibre11.com/2009/11/01/heuer-autavia-diver-100-unlocking-the-secrets/
There have been a few unknows about these watches (bezel types, why there are two versions in the OTD Master Reference Guide, production numbers, etc) , which I've tried to address. Of course, there are a lot of assumptions that I've made, so I welcome any feedback on things that I may have gotten wrong. Very hard to be 100% certain about watches from this era.
I've hassled quite a few people on this board for info about the Diver 100- so a quick thanks for your time and patience!
