I 'bought' this one once...
Well kind of anyway...
It was offered before a few months back described as an original 70s Monaco in great condition for around the same buy-it-now price.
The seller's feedback was pretty high however there were no photos at the time.
The description was so specific that I didn't think there were any worries canceling if it turned out to be dodgy so I pulled the trigger.
I wasn't totally optimistic but you never know - I certainly wasn't expecting a round Monaco anyway :-)
A couple of days later the requested photos arrived and needless to say we 'mutually' agreed to cancel the deal due to the watch not being original.
No money changed hands and the guy seemed pretty straight, putting it down to one of his staff incorrectly describing the watch.
I kept meaning to post the photos but just never got round to it...sorry...
Strangely this time its back on again, its again described as 'Original Heuer Monaco Chronograph Automatic Date classic steel watch in near mint condition' - maybe that same member of staff listed it for him this time also...
