: I had been looking for this version of the 1158 Carrera (with the
: black registers and the black date disk) for a few months; I
: never imagined that I would find one on the original 18 karat
: gold bracelet. I'm not a "gold guy" . . . and I'm not
: an "automatic Carrera guy" . . . but I have to say
: that this combination of watch and bracelet is absolutely
: stunning. The workmanship and feel of the bracelet is unlike any
: other that I have seen.

: Yes, this one has a few nicks and scratches . . . it's not NOS or
: mint . . . but how amazing that watch and bracelet have remained
: together these past 37 years, and can still leave the viewer
: breathless.
