Three-Word Request, "Serial Numbers, Please?"
In Response To: Timeline for the "B" Monaco ()

Shaun:

fantastic research; fantastic photograph . . . oh yes, and a fantastic collection!!

I will need to do more research and studying, relating to the different executions of the "standard" McQueen Monaco . . . perhaps others will be able to do some ultra-macro photos to demonstrate the differences.

The usual request, from me: Can you please either post or send the serial numbers? It will be fascinating to see how the serial numbers might help us place the 1133B Monacos into distinct "executions".

Thanks again and congratulations on the collection!!

: Here are the first, third, fourth and "fifth/15"
: executions of the "B" monaco. The second execution is
: the non-chronomatic metallic dial (I dont have that one). The
: Chronomatic is the newest joiner to the collection - I love it
: (thanks Nick). I need to improve the photographs, I couldn't do
: justice to the watches, but anyway, here it is, I thought you
: guys would like it.

: Two interesting things for me - there is an early 3rd execution
: dial (the classic mcqueen style) which has subdials which are
: slightly concave, and a later 4th execution dial where the
: subdials are completely flat. I think the colour difference
: between the 3rd and 4th executions are just due to fading, I
: don't know if the difference were there in NOS state. Anyone
: comment?

: Also, it is interesting that the cal15 returns to the earliest
: roots of the monaco with the metallic dial.
