This type of Heuers are for me very collectible and I have same in my collection.
This early version is rare, in this condiction and the value in my opinion is low.I have tracking this action on ebay and for me it´s a surprise.
Can you help me about the value of one (two botton) original triple set in excelent condition?
I never see one box to the triple set, Heuer make that?
The triple original back-plate I see have 8 holes to the 8 screws, wy the back-plate show in your photo is diferent? Heuer make diferent triple back-plates?
Thanks
Regards
Stevens
: This is the early version (fish-tail on the minute hand and
: "Monte Carlo" in script), which is relatively rare.
: The condition looks excellent, and the original box and
: instructions are also rare and add to the value. Double
: back-plate seems to be original.
: All together, I would say that $5,500 (4,260 euro) is about right;
: very nice later version (with two-button Monte Carlo), in the
: original box, is probably worth $4,500 to $5,000, so this
: premium for the earlier version is relatively low.
: Posted below is my "keeper" in this early execution, a
: triple set on the original back-plate.
