Final Design Changes on the Cal 1887; Can This be the Grail?

Once again, David has the inside scoop, on some recent design changes on the Cal 1887 Carreras.

OK . . . I am ready to make the announcement: I think this new series of Carreras is gonna be awesome / inspiring / iconic / amazing!! Consistent with our discussions of when homages or re-issues achieve greatness and when they fail, I see this one as a huge winner. Inspired by the original design, with many cues in place; further developed consistent with today's preferred "look"; reliable, modern movement [we hope] . . . Omega had the great Speedmasters in the 1960s, and it became the "grail" when powered by the Lemania 5100 movement [or the Omega equivalent] . . . I think that TAG-Heuer may achieve the same thing here, at a price point that will have far broader appeal.

Who agrees / disagrees ? ? ?
