: I noticed the Heuer Monaco, but I also noticed the strap

: Now I'm no Heuer expert, but there's nothing like this in Arno
: Haslinger's wonderful book on Heuer Chronographs and I don't
: recall seeing it when Steve McQueen's Heuer Monaco was
: auctioned. It looks like an identity or blood group tag of some
: variety. Does anyone know more?
