I have been thinking recently about out beloved Heuer's and where they tend to break down, wear out or become damaged most often.
It would be easy for me to form my own list and post it here on the forum for you to read but then i thought it might be nice to form a list of the most common failures together. I hope readers will contribute to this discussion with knowledge or insight from their own collecting experiences.
I'm also hoping that some of you from the forum with more specific watchmaking and movement servicing skills (ie. Craig, Abel, Nic..etc) could give us some insight as to which movements fail or wear out and how difficult they are to correct.
Could you raise a new point with a number in the subject line and hopefully we will be able to come up with a Top 20.
All input appreciated and each point listed is open to discussion.
Cheers - Darren Cal.11/12
