I'm also a newbie having just gotten my 11630. ( Pictures are in a posting below. )
Yes, on mine the crown 'clicks' .
On mine the pushers are fluted.
The bezel rotates both ways and does have click stops.
Mine does not have a ring. If I understand the question.
