The high prices achieved imo will only be replicated in a similar scenario ...ie at a top level auction house, with a year of top level PR within the motor racing world and watch collecting fraternity plus at Tags 150th anniversary year. The buyers also can point to their watch being in "the"Heuer book which for many is an appealing provenance. This criteria is unlikely to be repeated anytime soon. Id be surprised if for example mint Silverstones are much more than £4000 in 6 months time, £9000 is pie in the sky...
