I am puzzled by this one. Is the backcase of the snap back Autavia 2446 always signed (note the word always). I am aware that the first of the snap back cases had a lightly engraved model name and Heuer badge just off centre and technical specs around the outer edge. Same applies to the two register and Dato versions in this case.
I have a “last” execution Autavia 2446 with red chrono hand, red indicators at the hour markers, black insert to hands and hour markers. The case has been polished and the backcase is bald with no engraving. I have seen a few of these and wanted to get other members comments. If anyone has a picture of the engraving on a “last” execution 2446 please be kind enough to post it.
Regards
Paul
