Thanks Mark, great feedback. Yes, case has clearly been polished. Case back is as highlighted in the pic you uploaded and has a circular brushed finish. I completely agree, wonderful cases - polished or not.

: The only thing I'm seeing from that photo that I make take
: exception to is that the case seems a bit reflective, so could
: have been polished and lost the brushed finish (the main case
: body has a vertical brushed finish, the ring around the dial
: should be polished). Not uncommon, if you look at all the
: watches under 1153 in the index you'll see plenty have lost some
: of the finish to one extent or another.
