How do you verify the authenticity of dash timers with special logos? Are there any uniformity issues with these logos such as size, shape, color, time period, etc.? If there are variations on a particular brand logo such as the Ferrari prancing horse, which one is considered the real deal? Were these logos applied on at the Heuer factory or were they done under subcontract basis, i.e., given to individual make's manufacturer? Lastly, what's a rough ballpark figure on how many of these logo specials were produced? Any forthcoming info will be greatly appreciated.
