I've a really nice Quartz 1000m Heuer diver & I'm considering retro-fitting an ETA auto movement into it.
It runs fine, but it's not setting the date as it should. Now, I could source another Quartz movement (I'm sure I have a spare somewhere!), but I think that the auto would be better move all round.
Would you consider this to be a bad thing? I'm all for keeping our Heuers original, but I don't think that this is a bad idea at all.
Any thoughts?
